Information about the producer: Chateau Malvat is produced by Chateau Villars. It will soon be two centuries now that seven generations of wine growers have been tending the vines at Château Villars. Since 1991, Thierry, a trained oenologist, has been in charge of the vinification process and has been running the estate since 1997. “Succeed the perfect wine and die…”  It could be the philosophy of Thierry Gaudrie, eternally dissatisfied who draws in doubt, the perpetual desire to surpass himself … He never ceases to put the notion of true pleasure at the center of all this adventure … a pleasure that does not rhyme with fashion or performance that inevitably complicates and standardizes wine. “Whatever its age, a wine must be pleasure, emotion and memory”.

The producers personal opinion about the product: Very beautiful fruit, round tannins and a smooth mouth – these are the most beautiful qualities of this vintage which reminds us a lot of 2009.
