Aging: After three years in a flame-charred, first-fill, American white oak Bourbon cask, this whiskey then spends up to a year in a French oak Burgundy cask. Steeped in full bodied pinot noir wine, the cask brought complexity and depth to this lively, single grain Irish whiskey.

Information about the producer: Glendalough is a deep, glacial valley nestled in the Wicklow Mountains. Just south of Dublin, County Wicklow is renowned for its natural, scenic beauty and is known as “the garden of Ireland”. Glendalough is also renowned for its 6th century monastic settlement founded by St Kevin – a legendary monk and the man on our bottle. Monasteries like Glendalough were the birthplace of distilled drinks. At Glendalough Distillery we progressively-craft luxury spirits that evoke a profound sense of place, an appreciation of the wild flavours within, and a recognition of what it took to capture them. Our GINS are fresh-distilled from hand-foraged, wild botanicals in the Wicklow mountains. Our IRISH WHISKEYS are the result of a relentless search for the finest, most flavourful species of oak in the world.
